Clique Kits April Pep Rally

PictureSalutations everyone! Thanks for coming by from Carolina’s blog! So excited to be part of Clique Kits’ Pep Rally this month.

Given that Clique Kits is celebrating it’s 1 year Anniversary and the challenge is to scrap about a celebration of any kind, I thought it would be perfect to celebrate my family’s favourite roadtrip when we were living in Australia. We drove from Canberra, all the way to Brisbane, over a period of 3 days and it was super, super fun! WE enjoyed the whole journey with our 2 year old daughter then and was thrilled how from the really cold temperatures of Canberra, we moved slowly to a much more tolerable one in Brisbane.

This picture was taken as one of our rest stops and given that it was winter, the beach was less crowded – the way we like it.

I found the really cute pineapples to be the perfect accent here, since the Big Pineapple is one of those state icons of Brisbane. See those clouds? I printed this month’s cutfile and decided to use it as a print out to complement the vellum cloud I had there as well.

Love how this month’s kit lends itself so well to all kinds of themes and I hope you are having loads of fun with the kit too. Thanks once again for stopping by. Do head on over to Sandy’s blog next! She is always full of inspiration!
Don’t forget to take part in this month’s challenge too. The prize pack is super attractive!

I love that background paper. It’s so pretty and the embellishments blend in with it so well.
